Encrypted on your device
A key derived from your master password with Argon2id encrypts every item with XChaCha20-Poly1305.
Only ciphertext is stored
The server can't tell what your items contain, what type they are or which sites they belong to. Even URLs are encrypted.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if I forget my master password?
KeyZula never knows or stores your master password, so it can't reset it. That is the price of your data belonging only to you. Keep your master password somewhere you won't lose it.
Can KeyZula see my data?
No. Every item is encrypted on your device and reaches our servers only in encrypted form. Item names, usernames, website addresses and even item types are encrypted.
Can I move my codes from Google Authenticator?
Yes. Upload a screenshot of the QR codes from Google Authenticator's "Transfer accounts" screen and all your accounts are imported at once. The image is decoded in your browser and never uploaded.
How do I share with my team?
Create an organization and invite teammates by email. Define departments and collections to control who can see and edit which items.
Can I run it on my own server?
Yes. KeyZula can be installed on your own server with a single Docker command and used for free.
Is there a mobile app and browser extension?
The web vault is available today. The Chrome extension and the macOS, iOS and Android apps are in development.
