Accepting these terms
By creating a KeyZula account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use KeyZula.
The service
KeyZula is free and provided "as is". We do our best to keep the service secure and available, but we can't guarantee that it will be error-free or available at all times.
We may change, add or remove features, or discontinue the service entirely. If we have to discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice in advance where possible so you can export your data.
Your account and master password
KeyZula is zero-knowledge: your vault is encrypted on your device and your master password never reaches us. That's why we can't see or recover the contents of your vault.
- If you forget your master password, access to your vault is lost permanently; we can't reset it.
- You are responsible for keeping your master password and account safe. Please make sure your registration details are accurate.
- We recommend regularly exporting your important data and keeping backups in a safe place.
Acceptable use
You agree to use KeyZula lawfully. In particular, you must not:
- use the service for illegal purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of others,
- attack, overload or try to disrupt the service, its infrastructure or other users,
- create accounts in bulk or abuse the service with automated tools,
- try to access other people's accounts, or our systems by circumventing the service's security measures,
- reverse engineer the service's software or try to obtain its source code (except where mandatory law allows).

Suspension and closing of accounts
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or abuse the service. Where possible, we will warn you first.
You can delete your account yourself at any time in the web vault under Settings → Delete account.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, we are not liable for data loss (for example due to a forgotten master password), lost profits, or indirect and consequential damages.
Liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or injury to life or health, and your mandatory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
Privacy
We explain how we process your personal data in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will announce material changes on our website or by email before they take effect. By continuing to use the service after the changes, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms do not affect the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence; your rights under those laws remain unaffected in all cases.
